C. K. Brown

C.K. Brown is a full-time art enthusiast with years of experience in acting. Born in North Carolina but raised internationally, this Franco-American writer made her debut on stage in a 2012 production of “Some Like It Hot” in Paris and has since done performances of varying lengths in Prague, Rome, London, Manchester, and Brussels. She has been formally trained by teachers in New York and London, and when she isn’t acting or working, she’s probably discovering local theatre, spending time with friends, or traveling to attend training sessions for acting.
Colette Victor
Origin: South Africa
Colette Victor is a South African author, currently living in Belgium. Colette’s published works include a YA novel, Head Over Heart (Chicken House, 2013), that was shortlisted for the Mslexia Children’s Novel Competition 2012, and an adult novel, What to do with Lobsters in a place like Klippiesfontein (Cargo Publishing, 2015), one of three finalists for the 2013 Dundee International Book Prize. In 2018, Colette won the BBC World Service & British Council International Radio Playwriting Competition for her radio play, By God’s Mercy. She earned her MA degree in creative writing from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2019. Colette lives with her two daughters in Brussels, where she works as project manager for a poverty alleviation program in Flemish schools.
Jerry Slaff
Origin: America
Born in Brooklyn before Brooklyn was hip, Jerry Slaff was the Grand Prize winner in the 88th annual Writer's Digest Writing Competition for his new play, Lies, over 5,000 entries in 9 genres, and was a finalist in Signature Theater's Sigworks reading series in Arlington, Virginia. Lies is also a semifinalist for the 2020 O'Neill Theater Conference. His first play, Peanuts and Cracker Jack, was produced off-Broadway in New York at the Mint Theater following runs at the Cleveland Playhouse and Arkansas Repertory Theater. His next play, Casa Neurotica, was also produced off-Broadway by the City Theater Festival in New York. Other plays include Urban Affairs, Heaven, Lost Souls, Stanislavski's Methods, Petey's Parade, Personal Histories and a new play, Grand Union. He is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America and Playwrights Center, and wishes he was either Preston Sturges, George S. Kaufman or Thierry Henry. Natalie Hill

Natalie Hill has been a professional photographer for the last 15 years. She originally studied film and screenwriting but somehow got side tracked and fell into photography. She loves to shoot people and dogs and is a recent convert to the cult of improvisation.
Nickie Lennon
Origin: Ireland
Originally from Ireland, Nickie has lived in Dublin, London and Brussels. She has been an avid reader since her childhood days and, in 2004, she fulfilled a lifelong dream of opening her own bookshop. It was located in Brussels and specialized in world literature and personal development. Although her bookshop closed down after just five years of operation, she continues to run a Book Club for people interested in exploring international fiction and self-help books. In 2010, she self-published an adaptation of a classic book in the personal development genre, which she uses in her life coaching practice. As an active dreamer, she has been keeping a dream journal persistently for the last five years. She has attended a few creative writing workshops and classes, and has written some short stories, acrostic poems and the occasional limerick. “Waiting for Tomorrow” is her first play.
Simone Ellul
Origin: Malta
Simone attended drama school for four years in Malta, and then furthered her training in the UK, specialising in Shakespeare and obtaining an MFA in Staging Shakespeare. She trained as an actor-combatent and certified in all weapons with the BASSC. As an actress she has taken part in a number of productions both in Malta and in Brussels and she recently played Elizabeth Proctor in a production of The Crucible at Teatru Manoel. She has directed and assistant directed a number of productions and also collaborated with Griffin Theatre Arts in Sheffield and co-wrote, produced and performed in What You Will, an adaptation of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night in both the UK and Malta. She followed a two-year scriptwriting course organised by the School of Performing Arts of the University of Malta in collaboration with St. James Cavalier and Arts Council Malta. She wrote the play The Garden for the MADC’s One-Act Play Festival in Malta and won Best Script. Simone is a founding member of the English-language improvisation theatre troupe The Ghost Sheep, which is based in Brussels and performs in improvisation shows regularly. She has also performed in numerous international improvisation festivals and has attended various improvisation workshops, including the Loose Moose International Improvisation School 2018 in Calgary, as well as their Teaching Course. She also teaches theatre and improvisation.
